Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

Since 2006, Reconciliation Action Plans (RAPs) have enabled organisations to sustainably and strategically take meaningful action to advance reconciliation. Nationally, more than 10,000 schools and early learning services have a RAP with the Narragunnawali: Reconciliation in Education program. A Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) is a formal commitment to reconciliation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. It documents how our school will strengthen relationships, respect and opportunities in the classroom, around the school and between our First Nations and College communities.

Our Vision for Reconciliation is based on the College’s five Lasallian values and the five dimensions of Reconciliation.  Through the RAP, we aim to develop staff and student understanding of the role they play in the reconciliation process.  The development of our RAP also works to fulfil Child Safe Standard 1: Organisations establish a culturally safe environment in which the diverse and unique identities and experiences of Aboriginal children and young people are respected and valued.
