De La Salle College and Saint Kilda Football Club

The Saint Kilda Football Club (STKFC) are one of 18 clubs who compete in the national AFL & AFLW competition, representing more than 55,000 members and a significant community in Melbourne’s south stretching from Port Melbourne to Portsea. This includes many of the suburbs that our students reside in throughout the Saints’ heartland

In 2018, the Saints returned to their spiritual heartland of Moorabbin and to a new $40 million headquarters that rivals any other in Australian sport.

The Saints are proud of their contributions to the community, which includes a range of programs designed to foster inclusion and provide an opportunity for every young footballer in the region to reach their potential. As a part of this effort, STKFC has partnered with De La Salle College through their STK Education programs.

Students are guided through the inner workings of the industry, with schools able to tailor their experience. This partnership enables students to access various components of a high-performance sports facility. For De La Salle College, this has included football clinics for primary students held at RSEA Park and Health and Physical Education classes focused on areas such as Footy, Technology, and Innovation.

We have been fortunate that given the strong relationship, we have also seen our Senior Football side play ACC matches at the Saints home ground, RSEA Park.
