Time & Space — a program for Mothers and Sons

A female mentor such as a grandmother, aunt or family friend is welcome to attend. Register online here or email email@example.com
Here are a few comments from the 2017 Time & Space Mothers and Sons night:
“I found out some new things.”
“Excellent to spend time with mum.”

Mr Larry Evans
Yaluwo Fundraising Team
This term the Lasallian Social Justice Group is focusing on Family Week, an initiative organised by CatholicCare (a social service of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne) from 14 May to 20 May.
At De La Salle College, we understand that our students come from different family backgrounds and dynamics. During Family Week we aim to celebrate the uniqueness of families, encourage students to spend more time with their families and raise awareness for families living below the poverty line. The group of dedicated Year 11 students are continually ensuring that Family Week is appreciated by putting up posters, setting up stands and collating facts for the Daily Notices. What better way to say ‘De La’ and ‘Family’ than with a game of foursquare? So, we will be running a competition during Family Week. Foursquare by nature is a fun, inexpensive, accessible game that anyone can play and enjoy. The money that we raise will go directly to CatholicCare, who will use the money to assist local families living below the poverty line. I hope you all get involved and appreciate the uniqueness of your own family!

Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend
Worldwide Marriage Encounter Weekend provides an opportunity to invest in your most precious asset… Your Marriage! Forget life’s tensions and interruptions and rekindle the closeness, intimacy, love and romance that brought you together. Recharge your relationship batteries and explore the precious nature of your marriage, allowing you both to share your feelings, hopes and dreams with each other in ways that normal, daily living tends to inhibit. There is no group sharing. Couples and a priest present the weekend. It is based around Catholic values, but couples of all faiths are welcome.
1 June to 3 June 2018, from 7:00pm Friday to 5:00pm Sunday. Accommodation and all meals provided.
