Parent Network News
Year 10, 11 and 12 Parent Welcome Drinks
On Wednesday 15 March the Peppercorn café was buzzing as Year 10, 11 and 12 parents and like‐minded souls, took the opportunity to meet someone new and reconnect with people they have met over the years of De La Salle events. It was a convivial atmosphere, as more than 60 parents enjoyed great food, wine and company on a beautiful late ‘summer’ night.
We need your help please!
The Parent Network, with the support of its broader community, will be holding its major fundraising event for the year, A Day at the Races at Caulfield Racecourse in August 2017. College run events provide an excellent opportunity to get involved, meet other parents, and play a key role in building a strong school community. This is something that we pride ourselves on at De La Salle.
If you are interested in being a member of the fundraising sub‐committee for A Day at the Races, we would love to hear from you — please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Similar to last year, as part of the A Day at the Races event, the Parent Network will be establishing an online auction via 32auctions.com which will run from mid year until The Race Day. While more details will follow soon, in the meantime please start thinking about products, services and vouchers you, your business or your broader network may be willing to donate for the online auction. Donations will also be acknowledged to the De La Salle and broader community in various forms such as newsletters, our webpage and Facebook page, representing an excellent opportunity to promote your business. Please contact us at email@example.com with any enquiries or donation offers.
Thank you in anticipation of your support.

Fathers and Male Carers — Can you help out?
This year we need a lot of fathers and male guardians to run the breakfast so that the ladies can sit and enjoy the morning with their sons. If you are able to assist on Wednesday 3 May in the morning please forward your details to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Mr Eric Quitt will be in contact with all Mother’s Day Breakfast volunteers in early in Term 2.
