The Addams Family — The Musical — Opens tonight!

De La Salle and OLSH College’s co-production of the fabulous, creepy, kooky musical The Addams Family is opening tonight! There are four shows only — have you got your tickets?

There are over 100 students involved in the show including cast, band and crew across both schools. The cast are perfecting their lines and cues, the band are all tuned up, and there’s a hive of activity bustling in the background to bring you the brightest and spookiest musical you’ve ever seen.

The ghoulish Addams family find out how ghastly it is when their perfectly macabre daughter falls for a (gasp!) normal young Ohian man. Join Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Uncle Fester, Grandma, Pugsley and Lurch as they meet the unsuspecting Beinekes.

Come and support our budding stars of the stage – Eli, Sinead, Katelyn, Heath, Owen, Sam, Isobelle, Lauren, Daniel, Tim and the glorious chorus! The venue is the wonderful Drum Theatre in Dandenong. You have merely to click the link to book online at http://www.drumtheatre.com.au/events/4186/the-addams-family-the-musical/14387 or you can pick up your phone and call The Drum Theatre on 03 8571 1666

Time & Space for ‘Mothers and Sons’ Year 7 Evening

This innovative, single evening program is one of the special transition events the College offers our Year 7 students and will be held on Monday 22 May. Moving through times of transition has a big impact on a your son’s development. Teenage years accelerate quickly as his ride on the adolescent rollercoaster continues. He is growing up and the opportunity to reflect on the joys and challenges of this time in his life and in yours, is one not to be missed. This is a great night for the students as they witness their mothers or female guardians discussing what it means to them to be a mum (or mentor). The night allows your son’s to see how their mothers handle the ‘letting go’ process as they start to forge some independence.

Please click here to view the flyer. To register, please visit the link http://bit.ly/DLS-2017 or email dls.mums@book.time-space.com.au. Registration is essential to assist the College in planning for the evening. This session is exclusive to Year 7 students. We understand that families come in all shapes and sizes and not all mothers/guardians can attend an evening such as this. A female mentor such as a grandmother, aunt or family friend is welcome to attend. Should you have any enquiries regarding this event, please call reception on 03 9508 2100.
