Mission Action Day

Our annual Mission Action Day took place on the last day of Term 1 – Thursday 24 March. Mission Action Day involves a 12km social justice walk in the Gardiner’s Creek East Malvern area.

De La Salle College has a long tradition of generous support of the Lasallian Missions, who assist the poor and underprivileged both in Australia and internationally. In 2016 over $100,000 has been pledged, which will enable the College to support projects in India, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Cambodia, Sudan and Pakistan. Money is also donated generously to the Sacred Heart Mission and other charitable organisations.

Thank you to all students who participated and have pledged donations. Our attention now turns to collecting the pledged money and we encourage all students to be proactive in their collection of donations.
