Balgo VCAL Immersion – Donations wanted
For the second year running 10 VCAL students, led by VCAL Coordinator Mr Tim Hogan and accompanied by Materials Technician Mr David Murray and Maintenance Officer Mr Tom Buick, will be going to Luurnpa Catholic School at Balgo Hills in Western Australia. On this occasion they will carry out identified maintenance tasks over seven days at the request of the new principal.
The school has also requested various items for the use of the children at Luurnpa. If you have any of the following items in good order or new but no longer needed please contact Michael Bohan, College Property Manager, on 0439 172 465 (firstname.lastname@example.org) to arrange for handover/storage at the College until the team set off. Items needed include:
- second hand clothes for boys and girls aged 4 – 15
- toys/board games for the younger classes
- sports equipment
- books for the students to take home
- bathers (board shorts, one piece for the girls) and towels
- basic toiletries (soap etc.).
Any donations would be very much appreciated by the Balgo Hills community.
Time and Space for Mothers and Sons
De La Salle College is delighted to offer you an opportunity to experience a lifetime memory with your son at the annual ‘Mother and Son’ Evening.
