Help us Spread Joy this Christmas

The Christmas season is fast approaching, bringing joy and love to families across the globe.

For some however, Christmas is a time of hardship and sorrow. De La Salle College is asking that we think of those less fortunate in our community and how we may be able to assist. An intrinsic hallmark of being Lasallian is to identify a need in the community and then take action to address that need.

As such the College is supporting a Christmas Giving Tree for Berry Street Childhood Institute and we invite members of the De La Salle community to place a gift on behalf of their family under the tree. Students may donate a gift for either a boy or girl of open age. Berry Street have indicated that they have a need for gifts for teenagers as a priority.

The joy your gift will bring to a child on Christmas morning is immeasurable; the smile on their face will be priceless.

The Giving Tree will be located in the Tiverton Reception area from Friday 20 November. Gifts will be collected from Berry Street after 9 December.

At the request of Berry Street staff we ask that the gifts are not wrapped, rather placed in a bag under the giving tree. Please note aerosols/razors (gift packs) or pretend play weapons cannot be accepted .

On behalf of Berry Street Childhood Institute thank you for your support of this most deserving project.
