A Mother’s Day Treat

The inaugural Mother’s Day Breakfast at De La Salle College was an overwhelming success with more than 300 mothers and their sons treated to a lavish fare of pastries and fresh fruit in the gymnasium at the Tiverton Campus.

The Principal, Mr Peter Houlihan, welcomed guests and introduced the College Captain, James Benton, who gave an address.

A highlight of the morning was a talk by a guest speaker from the McGrath Foundation, Ms Diane Jickell.

Special thanks to the Parents’ Network, and in particular, Lora Domine, Julie Car, Marg O’Dwyer and Abbigail Grier who worked to make the event such a success.
